Do You Deliver and Collection Fridge Trailers?

When do you deliver the fridge trailer?

Prior to the scheduled delivery, our team will proactively reach out to you well in advance, ensuring clear communication and confirming the precise arrival times. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, we strongly emphasise the importance of having a designated representative present on-site during the delivery of our trailers.

Does someone have to be present for collection?

No. We offer the convenience of trailer collection even in the absence of someone on-site. We kindly request that you coordinate and arrange a designated location for the secure deposit of keys if there won’t be anyone present during the collection.

What Power Is Needed for the Fridge Trailers?

Our refrigerated trailers are equipped with a mains extension lead, offering versatile power options to suit your specific requirements. If you opt for generator use, we recommend a generator with a capacity of at least 3.5 KWA or higher to ensure optimal performance and seamless functionality.

Are the Trailers Lockable?

Absolutely, we prioritise the security of your goods, and therefore, all our rental trailers are equipped with lockable doors. It’s important to note that in the event keys are lost during the hire period, a nominal charge applies to cover the replacement cost.

Do the Trailers Come with Shelving?

Yes, every refrigerator trailer within our fleet is thoughtfully equipped with shelving units, providing a practical and organised storage solution for your perishable goods. These purposefully designed shelving units contribute to maximising the internal space, allowing you to efficiently arrange and access your items.

Does the Trailer Need to Be Cleaned Out?

Prior to delivery, each of our trailers undergoes a comprehensive and meticulous cleaning process to ensure they meet the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. While we understand that some level of usage is inevitable during the rental period, we kindly request that upon collection, the trailers be returned in a relatively clean state.

Can I Extend My Trailer Hire?

Should you wish to extend the rental duration of your refrigerated trailer, we encourage you to reach out promptly to confirm the availability of the trailer for the desired extension period. Timely communication is key to securing the extension, allowing us to accommodate your needs seamlessly. Please note that additional hire costs will apply.

Does The Rear Door Have To Remain Closed?

It is of utmost importance to ensure that the rear trailer door remains securely closed when not in use or when goods are not being accessed. Maintaining the door in a closed position is critical for preserving the internal temperature and ensuring the consistent refrigeration of your stored items.

Is There Internal Trailer Lights?

Certainly, each of our trailers comes equipped with internal lighting, specifically designed to facilitate usage during nighttime hours. These strategically placed lights illuminate the interior of the trailer, providing clear visibility and ease of access to your stored items after dark.

Do You Charge VAT?

We do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) in our trailer hire prices. We believe in providing clear and upfront pricing to our valued customers, ensuring that the cost you see is the cost you pay.
